For the Fourth of July weekend, Mr. D and I headed down to Monterey and Carmel. We do a lot of day trips there, but it was the first time we actually spent a whole long weekend there by ourselves. The weather was perfect, sunny and cool at the same time.
While at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a French girl (she had to be French, bien sur!) had the cutest sandals and Mr. D surreptitiously took a photo of them for me. Oh how I want to find them now!
In keeping with the seaside theme, what else but navy and white stripes?
